Our client was remodelling the entire downstairs of their house and was looking for a contemporary, stylish kitchen which was also functional and suited to a large family including their lovely dog. The space needed to be social and the addition of a wine cooler (and hidden gin cupboard!) on the peninsula meant the social and working ‘zones’ of the kitchen worked perfectly.
The mix of the contemporary j-profile white Remo door and soft grey Corian worktops worked beautifully and once the client had chosen the rather fabulous bright green lighting for the peninsula they opted for a matching green glass splashback to tie the colours together.
Don’t be afraid to incorporate a pop of your favourite colour – you can be bold with accessories like lighting, jars, splashbacks and if you ever tire of them – they can be easily refreshed after a few years without changing your entire kitchen.
